I am Kinetic Distortion, a Central California electronic music producer and dj of multiple genres. I stream music production & feedback Thur: 11-2pm (PDT/PST) at

I have been a live performer & dj for over 15 years all over California and Las Vegas at all types of parties from underground raves in the middle of the Mojave desert to massives and festivals for well known promoters: Jungle Boogie, Neo Sapiens, PWLY, K-Lin, Till Dawn, U Productions, and 1W1D just to name a few.

Some of the past Massives/Parties/Festivals where I have shared my talents are Hippie 2000 (1999), Secret Squirrel (2004-06), Awaken (2004), Dream Again (2006), Primal Trance (2006), Return (2007), Kandy Mill (2009), The Pulse (2010), Ice Breakers (2011), Emerald Dream (2011), Hot Summer Nights #1 (2012), and Poi Story (2012-2014). I have opened for a number of hot DJs and Musicians: Mars, Dyloot, Jennifer Rene, Kristina Sky, Speaker Junkies, Swedish Egil, and 303 Infinity among others.

In 2001 I placed 2nd in a remix contest sponsored by with the Groove Armada song, “I See You Baby”. Over the past 13 years, I have done remixes for artists all over North America: Ayria (Toronto) “Be Me” Divider (CA) “Apathy” W.E. (CA) “Authentic” Zeitmal (CA) “Dont Be Afraid” Phunktards (VA) “Disco Is”, and Ursa M/m (CT) “Sets You Free”.

In 2013, I released a massively successful Future Jungle track called “Mic Check” on W.E. Recordings (sold on iTunes, Trackitdown, and Beatport, as well as other online distributors). The first day it was available for sale it was added to the “Featured Tracks” list on in the Breaks section. It was summed up perfectly with the TID review, “Superb Jungle mayhem. Listen!”. Mic Check was also included in DJ Tariq’s “Deep in the Underground Show” on Nu Wave Radio in England. It has also garnered support from such DJ’s as CRS?, Dj Odi, Vinyl Junkie, RadioKillaz, Digitally Mashed, DJ Flashback, 601, and Rob Ceos!

In Feb. 2014 I released a Future Jungle EP called “Back to the Beat” (Faction Digital Recordings) on BeatPort, including a remix by Justin Johnson. On December 30th, 2014 my remix of Traxiom’s song “Let Me See Yo Tattoo” (Faction Digital Recordings) came out on Juno Download.

One thing that must be understood about my music is my insistence on eclecticism. Genre confinement is simply not possible. I cannot stick to one genre; I love and am inspired by all genres (Electronic, Pop, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Experimental, etc.) and I do not want to constrict myself to one type or style of music.

New projects are always welcome, of whatever stripe. Be it television, movies, video games, remixing, touring, producing, recording, djing, and performing. I am desirous of dipping into all aspects of the musical world.
